Home for the Holidays! (Added December 14, 1998) Mark, Paul, and Stephanie are heading back home to Boston for Christmas for the first time since 1993! This will be Mark's first trip in a plane. November Thurrott visit (Added December 14, 1998) Gram and Grandpa Thurrott came out in early November to watch Mark for a few days while Paul and Steph visited Portland, Oregon. Here are some pictures from the grandparent's trip. Since there are so many photos, we've divided them into two pages: One and Two. What a month! (Added December 9, 1998) It's been a long month since the last update, but life with Mark just keeps getting more interesting: Poopy crawls all over the house now, can stand up on his own, talks constantly, and has two teeth! We've got some pictures we haven't developed and a big trip to Boston coming up, so we hope to get some updates here soon. Ocktoberfest! (Added November 1st) Here are some new pictures of the cute little six-month old. Six Month Checkup! (Added October 17, 1998) Yup, he's still perfect! Mark went to the doctor on Thursday for his six month checkup and passed again with flying colors. He weighs 18 pounds 4 ounces and is 28 inches tall. Mark got two shots, which he didn't enjoy too much but he calmed down pretty fast. He's eating solid food twice a day now and he holds his bottle by himself. Mark can sit up by himself now as well and can pick himself back up again if he falls down. It's kind of amazing watching him change every day. August Thurrott visit, part two (Added October 17, 1998) These are Aunt Marilyn's photos from her trip here with "Gram" Thurrott (Paul's mom) in August. White June visit (Added October 17, 1998) Here are some pictures from Grandpa and Grandma White's (Steph's parents) visit back in June! Cardinals fans (Added October 2nd) OK, these pictures aren't of Mark but we figured you'd get a kick out of them anyway. We have seasons tickets to the Arizona Cardinals with our friends Kip and Nicole; here are some pictures of Kip and Paul with their faces painted for the first home game. Mo' Mark! (Added September 19, 1998) Here are a bunch of photos of Mark taken in late August. In fact, there are so many photos that we've broken them into two pages: One and Two. First cold (Added August 23, 1998) Mark came down with a cold last night but he's doing OK, all things considered. We're giving him tylenol and keeping him propped up a bit. Still perfect! (Added August 23, 1998) Mark went to the doctor on Tuesday, August 18th, and was declared "perfect" once again by the doctor. Mark is now 28 inches long and weighs 16 pounds, 2 ounces. He had to get three shots, but he was OK about it. In other news, Mark is now regularly turning over and can place the pacifier in his mouth the correct way: He will hold it in front of his face, angle it correctly and pop it in. He stands all the time now and sometimes we'll let him hold himself up on the ottoman, which he enjoys. Thurrott visit (Added August 23, 1998) Mom (Beverly), Aunt Marilyn and Paul's sister Cheryl visited in mid-August. He also made his second roadtrip with Steph, Aunt Marilyn and Mom, when they visited Sedona, Arizona. Here are some photos from their trip! Mark visits Flagstaff (Added August 23, 1998) Mark went on his first road trip August 1st when he visited Flagstaff, Arizona for a Cardinals Spring Training scrimmage. Mark and Stephanie got to go hiking but he fell asleep. He was great in the car, though, and slept most of the trip. We only got one photo from our stay in Flagstaff, but here it is! Mark hits a milestone (Added August 16, 1998) Mark rolled over for the first time on Saturday! He's been getting most of the way there for the past two weeks or so, but yesterday was the first time he made it all the way by himself. He can (correctly) put his pacifier back in his mouth without assistance now, and he's even been sticking his foot in his mouth (literally)! He likes to hold his feet up by his head with his hands and he talks happily all the time (we don't understand a thing he says, of course). On Tuesday, Mark will be going to the doctor for his four-month appointment. Mark turns .3! (Added August 8, 1998) Mark turned .3 years old this week!! Here are some video stills of Mark in action. We're back, baby! (Added August 7, 1998) We had a scanner problem for the past month or so, but we've got plenty of photos to add to the site. Here are the first few... Cathy's visit (Added August 7, 1998) Steph's sister Cathy visited in mid-May. Here are some photos we took while she was here. Jonathan and Jamie visit (Added August 7, 1998) Paul's brother Jonathan and his girlfriend (now fiance) Jamie visited in late May. Here are some photos from their trip. Clean baby (Added August 7, 1998) There's nothing like a clean baby! He's official (Added June 18, 1998) Here is Mark's birth certificate from the State of Arizona, which just arrived today.
The baby is now smiling and laughing every day and he responds to us by
imitating the sounds we make. |

testing a new computer video camera (the "WebCam"), which is currently
placed on top of Paul's computer monitor. Above is an image we captured of Mark
