Kelly celebrated her first birthday with Mommy, Daddy, Mark, Gram, Grandpa, Uncle John, Aunt Cheryl, Uncle Jonathan, and Aunt Jamie. Here are some pictures from her birthday party! Kelly can now stand up unassisted, and she cruises around the house getting into trouble. She says Da-da, Ma-ma, and Hi now as well.

April has been a busy month for the new house on Cranberry Lane: We've had it painted inside and out, redid the hardwood floors, updated the electric service, hired a carpenter for various interior updates, and are installing new blinds on all of the windows. Mark celebrates his 4th birthday this weekend! It all started last Sunday with some presents from Gram and Grandpa, followed by a daycare party at Ruth's on Thursday, a party at the Clarke School Friday, and then the big birthday bash on Sunday ... It's a birthday celebration week!

We visited the new house on Cranberry Lane this week to take measurements in anticipation of the March 26 closing date and future renovations. Here are some of the exterior shots.

Steve and Kim Cords are now the proud parents of a set of twin boys, Ronan and Alexander. They arrived at 2:48 and 2:56 AM on February 26 2002 and weighed in at a 6lbs 7oz and 6lbs 3oz, respectively. For more info, check out Kim and Steve's Web site!

Two month check-up for Kelly

Kelly had her two month check-up today and passed with flying colors. She's 23.5 inches long (95th percentile) and weighs 12 pounds, 1 ounce (80th percentile). She also got four shots, which she didn't particularly appreciate.

A new house?

Our offer was accepted on a new (for us) home in the Greenlodge section of Dedham, and here are some pictures from the inspection. It is a real fixer-upper, and we'll have to paint inside and out, and re-do the floors before we move in. But it's also a lot nicer--and in a better neighborhood--than we'd be able to otherwise afford, so what the heck. UPDATE: The house is a done deal, and we sold our existing house in less than a week! We'll be signing papers for the new place on March 26.
