Another snowstorm December 20, 2007 It never ends: Our third snowstorm in a week dumps another 8 inches of the white stuff on Dedham. November 2-8, 2007 Paul stayed with Joe and Rachel during a work trip to Microsoft in Redmond, Washington. Halloween October 31, 2007 Mark and Kelly went trick-or-treating with Kaitlyn and Liam while the twins stayed with Gram and Grandpa. Sophia (5 lbs. 9 oz.) arrived at 7:59 am, and Lily (5 lbs. 11 oz.) followed at 8:03 am. Everyone's doing great! Here are some pictures of the girls. Baby birds in the garage July 22, 2007 We've noticed a sparrow flying in and out of garage for the past few week, and now we know why: There are baby birds in there! Hale Reservation July 16, 2007 Back to the beach: Kelly took swimming lessons, Mark fished, and mommy and daddy relaxed at Hale Reservation. Cape Cod fishing trip July 15, 2007 In what is now an annual tradition, Paul and Jeff headed into Cape Cod Bay for another day of deep sea fishing with Al, Ben, Bob, and Quinn. June 25, 2007 Mark is scheduled to have bilateral cochlear implant surgery on Monday, June 25, 2008 at 10:00 am. We'll try to post updates as quickly as possible here. Update: Mark is out of surgery and everything went better than expected: Due to calcification of the cochlea, the doctors were planning to do a partial implant only (8 of 16 nodes) but when they got in there, they discovered the hardening was much less than what they had seen on the x-rays, so they were able to do a full implant (16 nodes), equal to what he has on the other side. Good news all around. Here is a photo slideshow from before and after the surgery. Mini-golf June 23, 2007 We all headed down to McGolf for an afternoon of mini-golf, and to feed the Koi fish. (Also check out a slideshow version of the page.) Las Vegas June 14-18, 2007  Paul visited Las Vegas, Nevada with John, Jeff, Joe, and Kenny for a "stupidity weekend" celebrating John's 40th weekend. And that's all we're going to say about that.

Clarke School Family Fun Day June 10, 2007 Mark and Kelly headed back to Clarke School for their annual Family Fun Day event. Kelly, Ally, and Catherine June 9, 2007 Kelly and her friends braved the elements at one of Mark's last baseball games. More yard work May 28, 2007 The yard work continues at 43 Cranberry. Back to Hale May 27, 2007 On the second day of Memorial Day weekend, we head back to Hale Reservation. We stay until closing and cookout for the first time this year. Yard work May 27, 2007 We spend half the day on yard work, washing the fence, mowing the lawn, spreading mulch and crushed rocks, trimming bushes, and planting flowers. Hale Reservation May 26, 2007 Back to the beach at last: A new season starts at Hale Reservation and we're there for opening day. Los Angeles May 14-17, 2007  Paul visited Los Angeles, California for work and got to go to an LA Dodgers game.

Fabrice, Anne, and Rose visit Boston April 9-20, 2007  Fabrice, Anne, and Rose came to stay with us and visit Boston.

Rome, Italy February 15-21, 2007  We spent the February vacation in Rome. It was our first trip to Italy, and we stayed in a wonderful bed and breakfast outside Rome called Il Colle degli Ulivi ("the hill of olives"), visited the city several times, and took a day trip to surrounding villages.
