Apple’s supply chain continues to face problems due to the coronavirus outbreak. The company’s stores are now reportedly experiencing a shortage of replacement iPhones, according to a new report.
Bloomberg reports that Apple has started facing a shortage of replacement iPhones due to the coronavirus outbreak affecting the company’s supply chain. Apple has reportedly advised Apple Store employees that replacement iPhones will be in short supply for two to four weeks.

Apple Store employees were recommended to offer customers with loaner devices to ease the delays caused by the shortage.
Apple is also apparently experiencing a shortage of individual parts for iPhone repairs, which will affect the company’s customer service experience. Replacement iPhones and the individual parts for iPhone repairs are essential for the company, as a majority of iPhone users get their iPhones fixed at Apple Stores.
The company is also quickly re-opening its stores in China after it shut all 42 of its Apple Stores in the country due to coronavirus concerns. It’s believed to have re-opened 38 of the stores as of Wednesday. Apple CEO Tim Cook said recently that the company is rapidly re-opening its factories in China after it was forced to close down some factories due to the outbreak.
