Teams/Skype Integration Delayed to June

Originally expected in April, the integration of Skype functionality into Teams has now been delayed a second time, to June.

News of the delay was first reported by Brad Sams over at Petri, our sister site, who says that the delay has been noted in a new message to the Office 365 Admin Center.

“The initial feedback from the early adopters was sub-optimal,” Brad notes. “Because of this, the company is delaying the rollout completion to the end of June as they make changes to the code that is enabling the federation.”

Unfortunately, the Microsoft 365 Roadmap website has not been updated. That site still notes that this integration is coming in May.

This integration should have been available when MS crammed Teams down O365 subscriber's throats.
