Will Apple have to remove my Belkin Xs screen protector for a battery replacement?

I got an Xs, but the health on it is on 75%, which is slightly low possibly. I may want apple to swap out the battery one day, but they also installed my belkin screen protector on for me when I got the phone. Will they have to remove the screen protector? If they do, will they replace it for free or will I have to pay £40 again to install the screen protector again.

Please let me know, thanks.

If they use suction cups to separate the screen from the body then they will likely remove the protector to get the best grip possible. An Apple Genius should be able to answer your question.

Given the Xs came out just under a year ago, to already be at 75% battery health is really not good. (I think Apple considers anything under 80% as replacement worthy). Whilst you may have some duff components in your device, you should maybe think about your usage and charging behaviours – maybe there's some small changes you can make to prolong your battery health the next time around.
