Help picking out a phone, LG G7 ThinQ and option on sale?

I need to add my daughter to my Verizon account. Verizon has the LG G7 ThinQ on sale 50% off in addition to buy one get one free when adding a new line. Basically can get both phones for$188 each. Another option is getting one phone for free when adding a line and trading in my Pixel.

I’ll be coming from the original Pixel and have never had an LG phone. I’m guessing that the camera will not be as good but was worried about what other differences I might run into? The Verizon store near me dosne’t have any of the LG’s instock so I can’t check it out much either. It seems like to good of a deal to pass up but I don’t want to be stuck with a phone I hate for 2 years either. Thanks for any help or insights.
