Again with YouTube in the new Edge.

I’m getting an error that says, an error has occurred please try again later.

But in Chrome it is not happening.

Edge hasn’t been upgrading since last week. So it is not edge.

Probably not helpful, but I'm not having any YouTube issues with the new Edge (Canary).

And(as of now) it's OK.

I can understand if it also had problem in Chrome. But it was only in Edge. So that makes me believe Google is doing some shady stuff again.

In reply to Lordbaal:

Shady stuff, like providing a fully open source browser that MS get to use for free? Why not just not open source the browser, like Apple. They don't have to face such accusations. Google just can't catch respect from everyone, I guess. Its not like you are trying to use MS's youtube competitor site or something.

I saw this when I had an ad blocker enabled on the YouTube site.

Uh oh google is getting worried about the competition. 😉 Well, you know MS has their choice of the firefox engine as well. Still better than the days of IE which was not open source and proprietary extensions, with a business model that actually wanted competitors browsers to not work. Google gets used no matter what browser.

The new Edge is coming along very nicely. I am getting close to making it my default browser.

In reply to nfeed2000t:

Considering new Edge is based on Chromium, MS don't really have to do a lot do they – it's mainly a new skin – Google have already done all the hard work, and will continue to do so by submitting the source to the Chromium Project. This is just another example of Microsoft's new parasitic nature – if you can't beat them – eat them!
