Apparently, Windows Phone is still a thing in the Netherlands..

The post on about the Xbox sale made me go to the Microsoft store on the web,

which redirected me to the Dutch version. I am Dutch, so thát at least makes sense.

What doesn’t make sense is the link seen under games and entertainment:

Windows Phone… huh… guess no one at MS NL got the memo that it’s dead.

Is this also an option in your countries?

(off topic braindump : this,of course feeds into my prejudice that the Netherlands is like the place where everything happens 10 years later

… like … the Shire .. okay, that analogy breaks down pretty quickly considering the average person’s length)

I do in the UK actually - also very inconsistent on the capitalisation on words - typical Microsoft!

I was going to post a picture but tried in all browsers and it just says something went wrong.

The NZ Microsoft Store is the same, shows Windows Phone Games and allows you to "Get" them. Presume there until the end of support later this year?

That does not mean that no one uses it. It also doesn't mean games will not support it.
