External Images in Outlook.com

I seem to remember being able to completely block the loading of external images in the outlook.com web client. Now it seems that the only option related to external images is to “always use the Outlook service to load images” under General-Privacy. the only other related option is to “Block attachments etc from anyone not in Safe Senders”. I can see a case where I may want to block remote images but still see an attachment.

Any thoughts on this issue?
