Microsoft Modern USB-C Speaker Question

Does anyone know if I can use a USB-C to USB-A adapter to power/connect the Microsoft Modern USB-C Speaker. Office PC doesn’t have a USB-C port

In looking around, it looks like you could get around this if you have at least USB 3.0 USB-A to USB-C adapter and a USB 3.0 USB-A port available on the Office PC. USB 3.1/3.2 would be better. If the computer does not have USB 3, then it probably isn't going to work without an add-on card or other add-on.
