MS Video editor/ story remix

Just done a clean install of Windows 10, fully updated, and notice that I have lost Microsoft’s own video editing app. Perhaps this is what was called “story remix” – i don’t know. It was there last week! I think it was part of the photos app but was useful for quickly stringing together short clips and adding a bit of music. Can anyone tell me if this is another app that has been done away with or do I have an installation problem?

But not anymore. Looking on the web I've tried a few suggestions but to no avail, and it seems that this is quite a common problem.

There is a stub app in the Windows 10 Start menu called Video Editor that launches the Photos app into its Video projects experience.

Googling the problem seems that I am not alone in this matter and I have tried some workarounds but to no avail. Thanks anyway.
