Has anybody tried setting up a personal email address/domain with Outlook.com Premium now that you can use GoDaddy as a Domain registrar for your domain?

Can you give us a link to a description of this option? I've done a bit of searching and can't find it.

Only a single address, no additional aliases, have to use GoDaddy, etc. Not exactly a real solution for most people. One of the best features of owning your own domain is being able to create specialized email addresses for specific uses. Can't do it with this. Plus, it's GoDaddy only. Can't do it if your domain is hosted elsewhere.

That's waaaaay too limited for a family like mine. I get that they want businesses to pay for the business version but still – it leaves enthusiasts out in the cold.
