The Salmon Sisters!

I think these briny beauties MSFT has fished out to promote the Surface Go will really lure in customers. Maybe land the company some net profit in the small tablet channel. Thought I do think the $399 price is a bit of a bait and switch, since many will want the reel big tuna at $549.

<p>So you are correct. And this is a very common retail scheme: Get customers in the door (sometimes virtually these days) and then use basic human understanding to upsell them to the one that they realize will provide more value. The customer feels good about it, and it's better for the business too. </p><p><br></p><p>I can't remember what this is called, but it's a formal "thing."</p>

<p>Are they actually real? Because I haven't been able to work out exactly what it is they do. They look like they're going trawler fishing but then they're drawing on tablets. I'm confused.</p>
