Can you hide channels in OneGuide?

We recently got cable (because extended family can’t live without sports .. sure, we’ll go with that excuse) and have it hooked up through our XBOX One S. I managed to repurpose an old IR cable from Media Center so I could change the channels and it works great.

The only thing is that I want to hide the Adult channels from my kids, so they don’t have to see shows like “Toothless MILFs of Appalachia” or some crap like that. So far – I haven’t found a way to do it. I know WMC had an option to hide or disable channels from appearing in the guide, so I’m hoping the same thing exists in XBOX.

Any help or suggestions?

Can't help you, but you had me literally cracking up out loud at “Toothless MILFs of Appalachia”. :-)

I think the best you can do is use the favourites feature.

Seeing as a request for something better has been sitting on UserVoice for 3 1/2 years, I'm not expecting it to ever get any better – https://xbox.uservoice.com/forums/251610-oneguide-live-tv/suggestions/6030099-improve-channel-selection-options-in-the-oneguide

</p>

In reply to maethorechannen:

Thanks for the suggestion. I've put in the request on UserVoice, so we'll see where it goes. But, joking aside, those kinds of shows are not at all what I want my kids seeing as they scroll through the list trying to find Star Wars: Rebels (for example).
