Local Co-op games? Play anywhere with PC games?

I have 3 kids and we got an xbox. They were used to playing several local coop games on wii and LAN games on PC. I’m having a hard time finding games they can play together. I have 2 gaming PCs too so a game that they can use play accross platforms might work also. They play Rocket League, Minecraft, and Cooking Fever so far. Any other games that would work? or can someone point me to a list of games that meets these requirements? I should have researched this out more at the start. Thanks

all the lego series games allow local coop. There are also a few platform games with such function as well as sports games (Fifa, NBA2kxx etc.)

It's a shame there are so few local co-ope games these days when lots used to support this.

A few favourites are Death Squared, Octodad, SpeedRunners, Overcooked, Goat Simulator and Human Fall Flat. For some nostagia there is also Sonic Mania with the Plus addon. Octodad might be the most entertaining whilst Death Squared is great for making you think.

I really wish filters would be added to the Xbox Store and to the Games section of the console to filter to local co-op. I think the sonic racing game also supports multiplayer.

It would be really nice if they could make this a little easier.

I agree about the lack of local co-op games. I just took it for granted that there would be several. Seems like the expect everyone to play online now. I don't want to have to give each of them their own xbox just so they can play together. When we first got it, I thought when a game listed multiplayer, I assumed that it was online or local. Figured out quickly that was not the case. Even some games like Garden Warefare 2 that has local multiplayer took some figuring out to get it to work.

The site Co-Optimus has the best list of co-op games that I've seen.

<a href="https://www.co-optimus.com/" target="_blank">https://www.co-optimus.com/</p>
