after I Upgraded to Windows 10 Pro 1709 I see every time I boot up my desktop PC a command line popup for just a second and then its gone again. Does anybody else have this problem? Is there a fix?
Thanks
Chris

I don't have that issue Chris. However, the on screen keyboard pops up for me on start up. I'm just waiting for MS to send through a fix.

I don't see this on my systems at home. Are yours home systems or connected to a work domain?

Anyway, sounds like you might want to use autoruns in the Sysinternals suite to find out everything which runs at system startup and user login. Odds are overwhelming that there's some startup or login process involving a character mode program.

Chris,

I noticed that some time ago and it was only on the system that I had put into developer's mode and added the subsystem for Linux… Since then I think I have been seeing it more across several systems.

In reply to TheJoeFin:

This could be what OP is noticing, but this Office glitch seems to run periodically. OP mentioned at boot up (which I interpreted as login). Still, Sysinternals' autoruns utility would show Office scheduled tasks.
