Interested in testing Halo: The Master Chief Collection on the PC? Well, here’s your chance: The Halo Insider Program now offers gamers the opportunity to test all of the Halo games across both console and PC.
“Join us on the journey to bring Halo: The Master Chief Collection to PC,” the Halo team announced on Twitter. “The Halo Insider Program is the new way you can partner with us to help improve our games via feedback and hands-on public flighting. Learn more and sign up today.”
The Halo Insider Program can be found on the Halo Waypoint website. There, you can sign-up to test Halo: The Master Chief Collection on both PC and console (or either).
“The Halo Insider Program is the new way Halo fans and community members can partner with 343 Industries to improve our games, products, and services,” the website notes. “As a Halo Insider, you’ll have the opportunity to regularly provide feedback and insights that help shape and inform current franchise initiatives and the future of Halo. You will also be given exclusive opportunities to participate in public [releases] of in-progress Halo game releases and provide feedback to the development teams.”
Those who choose PC will be considered for early access to in-development Halo games, meaning all of the games that Microsoft now working to port to the PC as part of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection package. This includes Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST (Campaign), and Halo 4. It’s not clear now if other Halo titles, like Halo 5: Guardians, will be ported to the PC at some point as well.
