Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Now Comes With 6 Months of Spotify Premium

Microsoft and Spotify have teamed up once again for a new deal for Xbox fans. Those who sign-up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will now get 6 months of Spotify Premium for free, which is a really good deal.

You can sign-up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $1 for the first month, and then pay $14.99 a month. There is a big catch, though: to be eligible for the offer, you must be new to Spotify Premium, meaning you have never used Spotify Premium in the past (you can obviously just use different email and payment details to get around that). It’s only available to users in the US and UK, by the way. You can check out the full list of terms and conditions here.

The deal is still pretty solid considering Spotify Premium itself costs $9.9 a month for normal users and $4.99 a month for students. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate gives you access to games on your PC, your Xbox, as well as Xbox Live Gold and Games with Gold. So all together, this new deal is solid. You’d have to be quick, though — Microsoft says it’s only available for a limited time, though the actual offer ends on the beginning of 2020.

Thanks for the tip, Chris!

Why doesn't Microsoft just buy Spotify and be done with it already?
