Mixer Academy Goes Live

Microsoft today announced the availability of Mixer Academy, a new resource for building your Mixer expertise.

“We’re always looking at new and interesting ways to help support every member of the Mixer community on their journey so that ultimately, you always have the tools you need in order to be empowered and successful,” Microsoft’s Adam Harris writes in the Mixer Blog. “That’s why today we’re thrilled to unveil Mixer Academy, a brand-new program, where you can build your Mixer expertise, complete courses, and earn badges for your profile to show off to your community.”

Sadly, I think the Mixer service will be in the long run canceled. Microsoft came late in that market too. So it's very difficult to compete against Twitch and Youtube. Even getting Ninja to Mixer did not created the expected advertising.
