Microsoft Bringing 19 Original Xbox Games to the Xbox One

Microsoft is expanding Xbox Backward Compatability with a huge collection of new games. The company is adding 19 new original Xbox games to Backward Compatability by the end of this month, and it’s also introducing Xbox One X enhancements for 5 Xbox 360 games.

The 19 original Xbox games will bring the number of original Xbox games available for the Xbox One family of consoles to 32. “All of these Original Xbox games will take advantage of the power of Xbox One with up to 4X the pixel count on Xbox One and Xbox One S, and up to 16X the pixel count on Xbox One X,” Microsoft said in a blog post. The new games will be released in two phases — one will be available on April 17:

If I play Red Dead Redemption on a regular Xbox One, hooked up to a 1080p TV, will I see any improvement, or does this only help Xbox One X users using a 4K display?

In reply to gvan:

One of my favourites. I tried crazy taxi the other week. Apparently simpsons was a rip-off of it, but simpsons is *much* more fun and better in every conceivable way. I set my bar high for crazy taxi based on road rage and it never even came close to reaching the bar
