Buy an Xbox One X, Get Sea of Thieves Free

Microsoft is getting ready for the big launch of Sea of Thieves next week. The company earlier introduced a Xbox One S bundle for the game, and it’s now intrdoducing a deal for those getting a new Xbox One X.

Starting March 18, those who purchase a new Xbox One X will get a copy of Microsoft’s hot new game at no extra charge. The deal will only last till the 24th of March, and Microsoft even says the start and end times for the deal will vary accross markets, so be sure to check the details at your closest retailer. Microsoft surprisingly isn’t launching a Sea of Thieves bundle for the Xbox One X yet, though that’s something which will likely arrive a few months into the release.

“Games play best on Xbox One and there’s no better place to forge your adventurous pirate voyage than on a new Xbox One X console for the launch of Sea of Thieves,” Microsoft’s Mike Nelson explains. Sea of Thieves obviously takes full advantage of the Xbox One X hardware, running at native 4K with support for HDR. It’s releasing next Tuesday — on the 20th of March.

The only thing keeping me from going X-Box is the inability to find a black X-Box One S that would match my other gear. I'm not interested in strange grayish, blueish or greenish colors. I can't justify an X just for the case color and visual enhancements that I will barely even notice.
