Microsoft has once again pulled the trigger a day early: The first free games in its August Games with Gold promotion are now available. This is at least the third time this has happened this year; July’s first two games were also quietly offered for free a day early.
Speaking of pulling the trigger early, Mehedi already documented the four games that will be available for free to Xbox Live Gold subscribers this (coming) month. So here, I’ll focus on the two that are now available.
