Xbox App Gets New Messaging Experience

Microsoft is rolling out a new update to the Xbox mobile app on Android and iOS. The company is introducing a new messaging experience for Android and iPhone users.

The new experience includes a new messaging interface that’s apparently faster and performs better, according to Microsoft. The updated messaging experience also improves the group messaging experience, which should help if you are part of a large group chat.

Along with the improved interface and group chats, Microsoft is making it so spam is separated from your actual chats on the app. Messages from people that aren’t your friend will be now separated into the Message Requests section, where you can chat to those people — and once you start a chat, they will get moved to your actual inbox.

You can get the new update for Android here, and for iOS here.
