Gallery: Comparing Surface Go, Surface 3, and Surface Pro

Microsoft’s newest Surface family member is now available and it’s a tiny device. That is, in comparison to it’s bigger and older brothers, the Surface 3 and the Surface Pro.

To help put the size of this device into perspective, I took several photos of the new hardware and Type cover to help you get a better understand of the actual size of this device. For a more in-depth write-up, check out my first impressions post that dives much deeper into the hardware and if it’s the right device for you.

For a brand new device the bezel on the Go is massive. The Pro is better, but even that's a bit chunky looking these days.

In reply to feedtheshark:

And it's all the better fot it. A tablet is a bit big to not have something to hold onto that doesn't make the cursor go insane. The thing would need a handstrap or something like that if it had a bezeless display.

A laptop can go bezeless but a tablet shouldn't. Rumor has it that Apple will try, amd their fans will buy it, but that does not make it a good idea.

Smaller than surface 3, bigger trackpad, better location of headset socket is very nice. Very travel-friendly.

Miss full-size USB and display out. Loved them on surface 3 and pro.

they look nice side by side, nice lineup.

But man, makes me think once they can get rid of the bezels basically one can have almost the screen real estate of the next bigger device shell in the smaller form factor.

I guess that proves that someone actually bought a Surface 3.
