Samsung Launches the World’s First 5G Tablet

5G is growing very quickly, and we have talked a lot about it over the past year. A lot of the high-end phones now come with 5G connectivity, so it’s only natural to see 5G come to more devices.
Samsung is now bringing 5G to tablets. The company today announced its first 5G tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6 5G, which also happens to be the world’s first 5G tablet.

Samsung’s new Tab S6 5G is a 5G variant of the company’s regular Tab S6 tablet. Android Central reports that the new tablet will only be available in South Korea for now, though it’s not yet confirmed whether Samsung plans on bringing the device to other markets.
The device comes with a Snapdragon 855 processor, and the Snapdragon X50 5G modem for the 5G connectivity. It packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, along with the regular 10.5-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display that we have seen on the regular Tab S6.
Samsung is selling the Galaxy Tab S6 5G for KRW 999,900 in South Korea, which is roughly around $850. The company is also giving away a free Samsung Book Cover keyboard to those who purchase the device by March 31.

<p>Would it destroy the tablets profitability if they made it 8Gig RAM and 250Gig storage? 6128 seems like they are cheaping out.</p>
