HP Announces DragonFly Folio G3 Laptop

HP unveiled today the Dragonfly Folio G3, a new premium convertible laptop that uses a pull-forward design. Just like Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Studio, the 13.5-inch screen can be pulled forward until it lays flat over the keyboard.

The company describes its new Dragonfly Folio G3 as a “mobile office” that can easily be transformed into a digital canvas. The HP Dragonfly Folio Pen, which comes with 3 programmable buttons, can also be attached magnetically to the device.

For video conferences, the 8MP camera has a wide 100-degree field-of-view, and the HP Auto Frame technology can help to keep everyone on camera. It can also be disabled with the touch of a button. The Dragonfly Folio G3 also supports dynamic voice leveling and AI-based noise reduction.

Under the hood, the HP Dragonfly G3 comes with an Intel 12th Gen vPro Core processor, up to 32GB of DDR5 memory, and up to 2TB of storage. Its 13.5-screen 1,920 x 1,280 pixels touchscreen also has a 3,000 x 2,000 OLED option.

The HP Dragonfly Folio G3 starts at $2,379. The product page is live on HP’s website, and you can sign up to be notified when it becomes available for purchase.
