Microsoft released a new firmware update for the Surface Pro 6 earlier this week. On the 4th of April, Microsoft released a new set of updates for Surface Pro 6 devices running the Windows 10 April 2018 Update (version 1803) or newer.
The new update comes with the usual set of firmware updates, and there aren’t really any notable fixes. It does, however, come with a fix that resulted in the CPU throttling to a mere 400MHz in some cases, and it also improves battery stability, and Type Cover connectivity problems:

Surface Pro 6 isn’t the only Surface device that might have gotten a new update. German blog WindowsArea is reporting that the company also released a new set of firmware updates for the Pro 5 (Surface Pro), and it comes with a much longer list of fixes. Microsoft still hasn’t updated the update history page for the device listing the new update, though, so we aren’t quite sure if this update was actually shipped to users. Here’s the alleged changelog, anyway:
