Word, Excel and PowerPoint for Android Updated with Simpler Sharing and Collaboration

Microsoft updated its core Office mobile apps—Word, Excel, and PowerPoint—on Android this morning, making simpler collaboration and sharing simpler across all three apps. And Excel and PowerPoint both received their own app-specific updates too.

Shared with me. Now, you can find and open files others have recently shared with you.

Improved copy and paste. Now, when you move content between Office applications using copy and paste, Excel does a better job of preserving the look of the copied information.

Microsoft PowerPoint

Simpler collaboration. The collaboration tools are now front and center so you can more quickly share your document and see who’s working on it.

Improved reading experience. PowerPoint’s presentation reading experience gets a fresh new look on Android phones. And now, you can drag and drop to reorder slides and double-tap to edit them.

Find. You can use the new Find icon in the PowerPoint ribbon to search for text across a presentation.
