Spotify’s Sleep Timer Comes to the iPhone

Spotify is adding a useful new feature to the iPhone for those who love going to sleep while playing music on Spotify. The company is finally adding a built-in Sleep Timer feature to the iOS app, after first adding it on the Android app earlier this year.

The new Sleep Timer feature has already been available for podcasts for a while, but Spotify is now adding the feature for regular tracks.

The new feature can be accessed from the three-dot menu within the playback screen, where you can scroll down on the menu to find the new Sleep Timer feature. You can set the Sleep Timer to stop playback in five minutes, an hour, or till the end of the current track.

iOS users could already achieve this through the iOS Clock app that allowed users to stop playing music whenever a timer ended, but having the option built into the Spotify app natively is definitely pretty useful.
