Amazon today announced that its new high-end e-book reader, the Kindle Oasis, is available for pre-order. The device will ship in late April and is billed as the lightest and thinnest Kindle ever. But it costs a whopping $290, making it even more expensive than its predecessor, the Kindle Voyager.

The version of Cortana in the shipping (1511) version of Windows 10 has been updated to support instant translations in French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Cortana uses a Microsoft Translator back-end to perform this magical feat, which can translate to a wide range of other languages.

While Windows phone fans have been waiting impatiently for the Windows 10 Mobile upgrade on their existing Windows Phone 8.1 handsets, the truth is, this may not be an ideal upgrade for many.
