Paul probably knows this but for everyone else the "Global Entry Card" provided by US Customs and Border Protection costs $100 and includes TSA Precheck (which costs $85). If you also travel or plan to travel internationally you should get it. But if you are traveling with a companion who doesn't have it, you cannot use the Global Entry line to re-enter the US. I was traveling with my adult daughter and we were coming back from Japan and they precluded me from using the GE line.

On the topic of not wanting to build too many new consoles at peak expense, I’d just like to remind everyone that they made $14 billion profit in the three months to the end of September. They could afford to lose a few million in order to actually make their products available for purchase.
