Tip of the week: Got a girl scout in your home? Go to the Microsoft Store!
Microsoft has partnered with the Girl Scouts of USA to offer STEM badge workshops
Plus: Get a controller clamp for mobile gaming: The Dainslef Smartphone Clamp for the Xbox Wireless Controller is only $10!
App pick of the week: OneNote for Windows 10
Did you see it? Microsoft just made a huge improvement to OneNote that makes it less aggravating (for me) to use!
Plus: You can get Apple TV app on Roku now.
Enterprise pick of the week: Desktop Analytics hits GA
Microsoft’s replacement for Windows Analytics is now generally available.
Codename pick of the week: Hydra
Hydra is the codename for the Open Applications Model (OAM), which Microsoft and Alibaba Cloud just announced today. All hail the Walking Cat for unearthing the info.
Beer pick of the week: Evil Twin The Sour IPA is Dead! Long Live the Sour IPA!
Visitors to NYC: There’s a brand new beautiful taproom in Brooklyn run by Evil Twin Brewing. They have the longest (and some of the funniest) beer names of all craft brewers. They have a sour IPA that is bright pink (raspberries/dragonfruit) but which also has “baking spices” like cinnamon and nutmeg. It’s a delicious marriage.
