    Forum Post

[Software] Best RDP that Optimized for WiFi? (bonus for if UWP)

I need you help to find a Remote Desktop Program (general purpose) that optimized for local wifi network connection speed so that I can use my Windows tablet at home as thin client to my desktop workstation.

An ideal application for this use would be that it need not go through a third party remote server to connect, has consistent Steam In-Home Streaming level of quality or better due to optimization but for general purpose (aka. not only stream games, but desktop, applications, videos and etc.), added bonus for if it is an UWP (so can be use with Win10S and other Windows sub platforms, e.g W10M), and/or end-to-end encryption.

I would not mind to pay a little for it, as long as if it is a reasonable price (less than $50 per install license/ less than $10 per annual) as long as it meets the above requirements. Thanks.

    Anonymous Posting, Bug or Feature?

Yesterday, I created a post (link below) on the Microsoft forum, and when it got posted the "posted by" part of the post come out empty.

    https://www.thurrott.com/forums/microsoft/uncategorized/thread/sale-surface-is-this-the-time

I guess this is the result of me taking to long to write the post and lost my premium member credential due to time out. (I got call away while writing the post)

Regularly, forums will either allow you to keep your account logged in as long as you are composing a new post, or it will check the credential before actual posting and promo the user to log in again before actually post the material (with all works temporarily cached of course).

I don't know if this is a bug, or an intentional design feature to allow anonymous post, if later, do I deserve a gold star for finding it out? lol

    Alpha Member Tag Removed?

Hi, this is not an issue of importance.

But, I just noticed that my Alpha Member # tag does not show no longer.

I did remember I had one (when premium officially started), and I sign up within the trail period.

Like I said, not really matters, but I would like to know whats going on, and if any alpha members is experience the same issue.
