Apple Fitness+ Adds New Workouts, More

“Apple Fitness+ is integrated with Apple Watch to build on the goal of helping people live a better day by being more active,” Apple senior director Jay Blahnik announced. “With more options for getting started, and staying active and healthy during pregnancy as well as at any age or fitness level, we hope even more people will be inspired to keep moving with our amazing team of passionate trainers. We’ve brought together an incredibly diverse and inclusive team of Fitness+ trainers, and we love seeing our team grow, giving our users even more options to find the best workout for them.”

<p>I do think that Apple did a really excellent job with Fitness Plus especially the integration with the app/Apple TV and Apple Watch integration. I enjoy it and it is good to see Apple building on the experience. </p><p><br></p><p>It came at the right time for me as we went into the pandemic and going to the gym wasn't an option. Heck, I don't even plan on returning to a gym after this experience. </p>

I did the free trial when it first came out and came away impressed. I decided it didn't have enough content to justify subscribing at the time. But I felt they were on the right track with it.</p>

I turned off the "Walk with" feature day 1.</p><p><br></p><p>Just like politics, I do not care what the "celebs" think. Act, sing or whatever you do and I can enjoy you doing that. Anything else…not so much.</p>

<blockquote><a href="#623690"><em>In reply to bettyblue:</em></a><em> Great idea bb. It should not just be "celebs" but they could have "pundits", </em>"pols", and more granularly "rwnj's", and "bleeding heart libs". The possibilities are endless. Think about it "walk with" AOC, Bernie, Hannity, Cooper, Tucker, Rachel, MTG or TCruz. Or better yet all of them at the same time. Guaranteed to reach your target heart rate. The mind boggles.</blockquote><p><br></p>

<p>Still, some features missing from Fitness+ but overall it's a very nice service and I'm glad to see them investing more in it.</p>
