Google Announces New Fitbit Lineup

Google this morning announced the Fitbit Versa 4 and Sense 2 smartwatches and the Fitbit Inspire 3 fitness wearable.

“The next generation of Fitbit wearables combine Fitbit’s health and wellness tools with the smarts of Google — Inspire 3, Versa 4 and Sense 2,” Google director TJ Varghese writes. “These devices are even thinner and more comfortable, so you can wear them all day and night, and you don’t have to charge them every day.”

The Fitbit Sense 2 is Google’s most advanced Fitbit smartwatch. It offers over six days of battery life, and sensors that can detect atrial fibrillation, heart rate variability, skin temperature, and more. New this year is a Body Response sensor that measures cEDA for all-day stress management. Sense 2 is available for preorder now for $299.95 and it includes a six-month Premium membership for new or returning customers.

The Fitbit Versa 4 brings back the button whose absence ruined the Versa 3 experience, and it offers over 40 exercise modes, real-time stats, and built-in GPS. It also provides 6 days of battery life in a thinner and lighter design, and it is available for preorder now for $249.95, and includes a six-month Premium membership for new or returning customers.

The Fitbit Inspire 3 is the latest rendition of Fitbit’s entry-level fitness wearable, and it offers 10 days of battery life, a color display, and trackers for activity, heart rate, sleep, stress, and more. Inspire 3 is available for preorder for $99.95, and it includes a six-month Premium membership for new and returning customers.

Each of these new devices will ship in September, Google says.
