The latest AdDuplex data suggests that Microsoft’s rollout of Windows 10 version 1903 will indeed occur at a sedate pace, no doubt in response to the massive reliability issues the firm experienced with the previous two Windows feature updates.
“The Windows 10 May 2019 Update (1903) was released to the general public exactly a week before we took this snapshot,” AdDuplex notes in its latest report. “It looks like Microsoft is taking a really careful approach to this rollout.”

How careful? The update was found on only 1.4 percent of the nearly 100,000 PCs that AdDuplex surveyed.
AdDuplex further notes that Windows 10 version 1803 remains the most common version of the platform, and is installed on over 61 percent of all surveyed Windows 10 PCs. Meanwhile, Windows 10 version 1809 inched up to 31.3 percent, up barely from the 29.3 percent usage it saw a month earlier.
So it’s possible that 1809 has hit its peak. If so, it is only about one-third as popular as its predecessor: Windows 10 version 1803 hit 90 percent usage in October 2018.
