Apple watchOS 5 Coming September 17

Along with the new Apple Watch Series 4, Apple today announced it will be releasing watchOS 5 to all supported Apple Watch devices on September 17.

watchOS 5 is a major upgrade for the Apple Watch system, bringing new features like Activity Competitions, Walkie-Talkie to easily talk with your other friends that own an Apple Watch, new Workouts, upgraded running features for improved tracking, third-party app integration for Siri, support for raise to speak with Siri so you don’t have to say “Hey, Siri”, improved notifications with grouped notifications, easier controllers, improved do not disturb, and more.

The update for watchOS is huge, and it’s shipping to all Watch devices (series 1, 2, 3) next week.
