This is just a bit of snark so ignore it Brad but the site appears to be in freefall. Everytime I log on different bugs occur. Is it just me? I don't think so as I'm running a stock standard updated version of Chrome. You really need to get on top of this guys!

In reply to anchovylover:

I visit a couple of times a day. I've seen some disappearing comment weirdness (and I've opened a ticket via [email protected] regarding that), but that's all.

In reply to anchovylover:

Well aware of the issues, have a big project ending this week that should hopefully free up some time to address these issues.

In reply to anchovylover:'Free fall' seems a little strong. But I've noticed an odd login bug, where I only seem to be able to login reliably from the homepage. Must log that.

I thought the episode where Andrew interviewed Paul was a lot of fun, could we have an equivalent where either Paul or Andrew interview Brad some time?

I own an 8" Asus VivoTab Note 8 Windows tablet. Since the death of the Surface Mini none of the big PC makers are making anything sub 10". Do you think this is because 8" tablets or unpopular, cost too much to produce or the whole Intel can't make a good chip for them is the reason for their demise?

With Surface 3 now gone do you think the 10" tablets category could be next?

Do you think Windows on ARM will change this?

-Brian

In reply to harmjr:

They're still out there, but definitely not as popular as when Windows 8 launched. I think they don't sell well because it's a really small value proposition bullseye to hit. I think for most people an 8 inch tablet is going to be a second or third device. It's not large or robust enough to be a laptop or desktop replacement. Yet Windows lacks the rich app environment of iPad or Android tablets, which limits them as consumption devices.

Coming from the UK, we rarely see really heavy snowfall like Paul is getting. Can you send some across the pond? My kids would love it, and I'd love a few days off work!
