Intel new discrete GPU

I know that we need to wait near 2020 to know any details about the new discrete cards that Intel is making with the help of the ex-Radeon Group president Raja Kudori.

I wonder how well the drivers will be and will they be able to compete against nVidia cards.

I'm curious about this as well. On the one hand, though, I kind of view AMD and Nvidia as so entrenched that it would be hard to make any headway, but on the other hand, if you sprinkle some disgruntled AMD users together with some disgruntled Nvidia users, you got yourself a recipe for Intel customers.

In reply to ErichK:

Keep in mind, Intel has the largest graphics market share on Desktops. And since they own their own Fabs and control the chipsets, they can add this to their motherboards in interesting ways, that force them to be used. Their drivers are good enough for most use cases. But whether any of this is even useful we won't know until we know more about actual pars.
