Edge hanging

I just did a fresh install of 1809 and it has had its updates OK. However Edge hangs when attempting to bookmark a page. The flyout just freezes and nothing else will work. I have to use task manager to kill Edge. I disabled my two extensions – google trnalate and a youtube enhancer but it made no difference. My Windows is still pretty virginal as a new install.
