Samsung G7 Monitor cord fire

If you have a Samsung G7 32″ and likely the G9 49″ monitor take a look at you power cable and make sure you aren’t putting anything too flammable on your desk. I came in my office and found the monitor looked like it was off. I go in my home office first thing in the morning and use the monitor as my light. I reached under the monitor and hit the power button but nothing. As I moved the monitor to see if the power cord had came unplugged I saw arching. I unplugged the power brick and found this.
