Microsoft will hold a new Xbox Partner Preview event this week on Wednesday, March 6. The 30-minute event will be streamed live on YouTube and Twitch, and it will feature a dozen new trailers from publishers like Capcom, EA, and Nexon.
“During Xbox Partner Preview, you can learn more about combat and traversal in Tales of Kenzera: Zau, with a video narrated by Abubakar Salim himself, see new gameplay from Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, get a closer look at The First Berserker: Khazan, and other great titles coming to Xbox, Windows, or Game Pass,” the Xbox team said today.
Microsoft’s last Xbox broadcast was the Developer_Direct event in January, which focused on four upcoming first-party titles coming later this year (and on day one on Game Pass): Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, Avowed, and Ara: History’s Untold. Square Enix’s Vision of Mana, which is coming in summer 2024, also made a surprise appearance during the event.
This new Xbox Partner Preview event featuring third-party multiplatform games will likely not generate the same amount of hype as the Developer_Direct in January. However, as Xbox players are still missing out on big games such as the critically acclaimed PS5 exclusive Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, Microsoft needs to show off strong developer support for the Xbox ecosystem.
Microsoft’s Xbox Partner Preview event will start airing at 10 AM PT on Wednesday, and you may want to watch it on the Xbox YouTube channel if you want to enjoy a 4K/60FPS stream.
