OneDrive Not Discovering Some Photos

I am curious about One Drive’s photo feature. I have found that a number of photos in my One Drive folders do not show up in, for example, the face finding feature. Are there only specific folders it searches through for photos or should it be searching through all folders in One Drive for photos? If it searches through all folders why aren’t some faces being found?
