More problems with Outlook on the web

I use the web interface for Outlook because Microsoft apps on the mac are not well made.

I have had numerous problems with outlook.com and a new one showed up recently. I use outlook primarily for subscription matter and mailing lists, so I have a hierarchy of folders and subfolders.

The problem I’ve been having for a week or so is accessing emails in folders. The top level inbox works fine but when I click on a folder (that has new messages) I get a long pause, followed by:

“Your request can’t be completed right now.”

followed by … nothing. Re-doing the request does not make it work. If I quit and come back later it may or may not work.

I can always retrieve the messages by using the ipad or iphone mail (though it’s clumsy to go through the folders and subfolders) so I know the email is there and is accessible.

Any ideas?
