Microsoft Announces Xbox Partner Preview Broadcast on October 17

Xbox Partner Preview October 17

Microsoft has just announced a new Xbox Partner Preview broadcast this Thursday, October 17. The Xbox team has been using this “no-fluff, all-games” format to showcase upcoming games from third-party developers, and this time the event will put the spotlight on Remedy Entertainment, Sega, 505 Games, and other partners.

“During Xbox Partner Preview, you’ll get a first look at gameplay from Alan Wake II’s next expansion, The Lake House, an action-packed new trailer for Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, a peek at multiple bosses in dark-fantasy action game Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, multiple world premieres, and other great titles coming to Xbox consoles, Windows PC, and Game Pass,” the Xbox team said today.

This upcoming Xbox Partner Preview event will last around 25 minutes and include over a dozen new trailers. Why today’s announcement doesn’t mention it, it seems likely that some of the games Microsoft is planning to show will also come to Game Pass. That’s what happened with several titles Microsoft showed during its Tokyo Games Show broadcast last month, which focused on games from third-party developers in Asia.

Microsoft’s Xbox Partner Preview broadcast will kick off at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern / 6pm UK on October 17. And it will be live streamed on YouTube, Twitch, and… LinkedIn, for some reason. However, only YouTube will be offering a 4K/60FPS stream.
