Facebook messenger app for Windows requires Edge

I found out today, the hard way, that Facebook messenger app for Windows requires Edge.

I have been using the app and have completely removed Edge for months. Ever since the app won’t get updates through the Store. Today I did some troubleshooting and indeed after installing Edge the Messenger app is updated.

Interestingly, removing Edge doesn’t seem to work anymore (!).
