iOS 18.1.1 is a terrible release

Just wow. I really wobbled on upgrading my iPhone 12 for the last year, and then I got an absolute steal of a deal on an iPhone 15 pro max 512gb, I mean sooo cheap, and I was chuffed as I needed a decent telephoto camera set up for better sports photography (my boys a goalkeeper) and got it home and set it up etc over this weekend. Well, where to start, iOS 18.1.1 is terrible. About 60% of my apps won’t work/open and Face ID has gone awol on the most important apps like banking etc. I’ve spent 2 days trying every conceivable install variant but it’s pretty much the same whatever I try. There’s nothing wrong with the handset either, it’s all down to this aweful Apple software release. I’ve gone back to my iPhone 12 on iOS 17.7.1 and wondering what to do now.. i can’t believe how broken stuff is, it’s terrible.
