Microsoft has just revealed the next games coming to the Core, Standard, PC, and Ultimate tiers of its Game Pass service during the holiday season. The headliner is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which will launch on day one on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass next week on December 9.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a first-person action-adventure game developed by Wolfenstein developer MachineGames, and it’s set between the events of “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and “The Last Crusade.” The game is a timed Xbox console exclusive and it will be released on Sony’s PlayStation 5 in Spring 2025. The official launch trailer was just published yesterday, and you can watch it below.
The other notable Game Pass additions in December include Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, another Activision game coming to the service tomorrow, December 4 (but only for console players). Overthrown, a new city builder is also coming to Game Pass on day one on December 5. It’s launching via the Game Preview program, which means the game isn’t completely finished yet.
For Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members, EA Sports WRC will become available via EA Play on December 5. Members will also get access to Wildfrost, a tactical rogue-like deck builder.
In the list of less exciting additions, Carrion and Road 96 will be coming back to the Game Pass library on January 2 and 7, respectively. Microsoft will also make a couple of Game Pass games available on the new Standard tier including Forza Motorsport, Hauntii, and Humanity. Game Pass Core (previously Xbox Live Gold) members will also get access to Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, DayZ, and Goat Simulator on December 4.

Microsoft confirmed that there won’t be a second wave of new Game Pass games in December. As a result, the company is already revealing the list of games that will leave the service on December 15 and December 31. It includes Forza Horizon 4, which you may want to purchase before it’s delisted from all digital stores on December 15. Other big titles that will leave the Game Pass library in December include Rise of the Tomb Raider, The Quarry, Lego 2K Drive, and Party Animals.
