Microsoft 365 Copilot app has replaced M365 app

As Paul reported in December, the Microsoft 365 app has now been replaced by the Microsoft 365 Copilot app.

I noticed it this morning, when I was doing something else on my company phone.

It automatically put the Copilot chat as a tab on the taskbar at the bottom of the app and I can’t see any way of removing it. I’ve been through the settings in the M365 admin center, but there doesn’t seem to be anything there to disable it. (We aren’t allowed to use Copilot, so it needs to be removed – the app is used for central OneDrive, Word and Excel document viewing and editing, so removing the app isn’t an option, we just need it without Copilot activated.)
